   CHRISTMAS WASTE / RECYCLING    18 December, 2018

Please bear in mind there will be changes to bin collection dates over the festive period. Collections up to and including Monday 24 December 2018 will run as normal, with changes beginning from Tuesday 25 December. Normal collections will resume from Monday 7 January 2019. Full details are available at: www.waverley.gov.uk/xmasbins. If you would like a text reminder, sign up at: www.waverley.gov.uk/bintext.

Don’t forget, you can also recycle your Christmas trees. Synthetic Christmas trees can be taken to your local tip (visit: www.waverley.gov.uk/crc for locations). If you’re a subscriber to the Garden Waste Collection Service, you can put your real Christmas tree out with your other garden waste on the first collection after Christmas.

From 29 December, you can also take your real Christmas trees to drop-off points in some of Waverley’s parks. They will be turned into compost and used on shrub beds across the borough.

The drop-off points are at:

·     Farnham Park – on the bonfire site GU9 0AU

·     Rowledge Rec – Car Park GU10 4BP

·     Glendale Depot – Bourne Mill GU9 9PS

·     Broadwater Park – Nursery Road Car Park GU7 1QD
