UPDATE - TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - High Street Green    7 January, 2019

The Parish Council have been in touch with Highways Team at Surrey County Council about the ongoing deterioration of the carriage-way at High Street Green.

SCC have reviewed the stretch on 20th December and noted the severe undulations in many locations on the road.  Pending approval for work to areas identified as needing haunching/patching the speed limit has been temporarily  reduced from 60 to 30m.p.h for safety reasons and a temporary road closure with access for residents only has been put in place.  Surrey aim to carry out works by the end of January.

A proposal to surface dress the entire stretch is being considered within the 2019/20 SCC budget.
