YOU could be in at the ‘grass roots’ level of Local Government and be involved in making things happen or getting things sorted!
The Council is looking to co-opt a new Parish Councillor
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and a British subject or a citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union and must satisfy at least one of the following:
• be a local government elector for the Parish of Chiddingfold;
• have, during the whole of the previous 12 months, occupied land or other property in the parish, either as owner or tenant
• have, during the whole of the previous 12 months, had your principal or only place of work in the parish;
• have resided in (or within 3 miles of) the parish during the whole of the previous 12 months
Applicants should complete the Council’s Co-option Policy, Privacy Notice and Application Form. Please contact the Clerk for more details.
Applications for Co-option must be returned to the Clerk by 12 noon on 1st April 2021.
