The Council is responsible for a number of sites:
- The Green, including the Pond (under lease from Waverley Borough Council)
- Coxcombe Lane Recreation Ground (under lease from Waverley Borough Council)
- Combe Common
- Petworth Road Field
Any request to use these sites for an event must be submitted to the Council on the Council’s application form (available from the Clerk) at least 6 weeks in advance and be accompanied by evidence of Public Liability Insurance at a minimum of £5 million and a suitable Risk Assessment.
Potential applicants are advised to contact the Clerk to discuss any application in advance, as other conditions may apply.
For events on sites leased from Waverley Borough Council, compliance with the
Waverley Event Guidance
is likely to be required and an application fee (currently £54.10) is payable to Waverley Borough Council.
Please note that applications for use of the Village Green by individuals or organisations outside the Chiddingfold Parish boundary are not encouraged.
