The Parish Council is planning to put a children’s playground in the area by the allotments using funding we have secured from Elivia Homes (who are developing the land adjacent to the surgery). The area is proving to be challenging with so much fly tipped material and electricity cables running through it although this is all being cleared.
The Council is seeking to develop Combe Common to support the local groups. This is quite involved with all the planning requirements and then we face the difficulty of obtaining funding so will take some time. The playground development will be faster and is planned to fit in with this larger project.
