Chiddingfold Parish Council invite you to a “Help Shape the Future of the Village – become a Parish Councillor” evening.
at 7:30pm on Thursday 6 March 2025 in the Crown Inn (The Half Crown).
With so much happening in the village, and some exciting projects in hand, Chiddingfold Parish Council would like to attract some new members.
There is a new playground coming next to the allotments at Combe Common Recreation Ground, and you may have seen new housing developments commencing on Ridgley Road, Woodside Road and Hartsgrove, to mention a few.
New housing schemes contribute funds to the Parish Council through the Community Infrastructure Levy – these funds are available to provide new facilities for the community.

There are currently 4 vacancies on the Parish Council. We would especially like to attract younger Councillors so that the Council becomes more demographically representative.
If you also have business experience, or a legal or finance background, all the better.
But, you don’t need to have any qualifications or experience because there are courses to help. You just need to care about the village and be interested in how to shape a positive future for the village,
To be eligible, you need to be over 18, registered to vote, have lived in the parish or within 3 miles of the boundary for 12 months, or work in the village.
